Bills vs. Steelers live stream info, TV channel: How to watch NFL on TV, stream online Bills vs. Steelers NFL Week 1: How to watch (TV channel, time, live stream information) How to Watch Buffalo Bills vs. Pittsburgh Steelers: Live Stream, TV Channel, Start Time The Pittsburgh Steelers (0-0) go on the road to take on the Buffalo Bills (0-0) at Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park on Sunday, September 12, 2021. In the article below, we'll give you all the details you need to know about how to watch this game, including on FuboTV. After months of waiting in anticipation, the 2021 NFL season finally kicks off for the reigning AFC East champion Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon, when the Bills welcome the Pittsburgh Steelers to Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park for a season-opening 1 p.m. EDT clash. The Buffalo Bills were AFC East favorites one year ago, but few experts and analysts predicted that the team would go 13-3 in the regular season and advance all the way to the AFC Championship game. A lot of the Bills’ success last season was due to the fact that the offense took an unbelievable leap. The team finished second in the league in yards per game (396.4), third in passing yards (4,620) and second in points (501 total). The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Buffalo Bills will face off at 1 p.m. ET Sept. 12 at Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park to kick off their 2021 seasons. Pittsburgh is coming off of a 12-4 season with hopes of advancing further than the first round of the playoffs, where they were eliminated by the Cleveland Browns 48-37. Buffalo advanced two rounds further, losing to the Kansas City Chiefs 38-24 in the Conference Championship. A couple last-season offensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: The Steelers ranked worst with respect to rushing yards per game last season, where the squad accrued only 84.4 on average. Buffalo's offense has more to brag about, as they they were second best in yards per game, finishing the 2020 season with 396.4 on average. The Pittsburgh sideline is surely aware that they're the underdogs in this one. Perhaps they'll be able to flip the script and come out with a big win. Josh Allen deserves much of the credit for Buffalo’s 2020 success. The quarterback finished second in MVP voting and set single-season franchise records in passing yards completions and total yards. His number one receiver, Stefon Diggs, also thrived in his first season with the Bills finishing first in the league in receptions and receiving yards. In 2021, there are legitimate Super Bowl aspirations in Buffalo. In addition to Allen and Diggs, Buffalo’s 2021 offense has playmaking pass-catchers such as Cole Beasley, Gabriel Davis, Emmanuel Sanders and Isaiah McKenzie. Their backfield also goes three deep with Devin Singletary, Zack Moss and Matt Breida. Buffalo was among the most pass-happy teams in the league last year and will likely throw early and often in 2021, but all three of the team’s backs can contribute as receivers and on the ground. Buffalo’s defense returns all of their key starters and the unit has some new faces in Greg Rousseau, Boogie Basham and Efe Obada. The hope is that the new trio, in addition to Jerry Hughes, Mario Addison and A.J. Epenesa, will give Buffalo a pass-rush that can consistently get after the opposing quarterback. The Bills will get tested out of the gate in Week 1 when they host the Pittsburgh Steelers. Buffalo has won the previous two matchups against the Steelers, but both games have been close early. Much like Buffalo, Pittsburgh’s offense features plenty of pass-catching options between Diontae Johnson, Chase Claypool, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Eric Ebron and Pat Freiermuth. With two potentially explosive offenses hitting the field at Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park on Sunday, the game could come down to which defense makes the most plays. That’s where Buffalo’s aforementioned defensive line comes in. The unit--minus Star Lotulelei who was ruled out with injury--will face a Steelers offensive line with no shortage of questions. The Steelers are expected to roll out an offensive line from left to right that features Dan Moore Jr., Kevin Dotson, Kendrick Green, Trai Turner and Chuks Okorafor. Moore and Green were both drafted in the 2021 NFL Draft. Moore was selected in the fourth round while Green was selected in Round 3. Dotson, a second year player taken in the fourth round of the 2020 draft, played just over 350 snaps as a rookie while starting four games one year ago. The second year guard may be Pittsburgh’s best lineman following a dominant preseason. Turner, 28, has name value but is coming off of a down year with the Bills in 2020 in which he dealt with knee and groin injuries. This will be Turner’s third team in the past three seasons. Okorafor is the elder statesmen of the starting line having been with the Steelers since 2018 (30 games played, 19 starts). Pittsburgh’s line could give Buffalo’s pass rushers an opportunity to get after Roethlisberger. If the Bills DL can sack the quarterback, cause a few errant throws or bat any passes, Buffalo may be able to pull away in the matchup. If you won’t be at Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park on Sunday, here is all of the information you need to watch or listen to the Week 1 matchup against the Steelers. How To Watch When: Sunday at 1 p.m. ET Where: Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park TV: CBS Online streaming: fuboTV (Try for free. Regional restrictions may apply.) Follow: CBS Sports App With 20 of their 22 starters returning from a 2020 campaign that saw Buffalo go 13-3 in the regular season, claim the AFC East title and advance into the AFC Championship, All-Pro quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills are a serious threat to return to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 1993 season. Allen and the Bills’ prolific offense shattered all kinds of team records last year, including scoring 501 points—an average of 31.3 points per game in the regular season, tops in the AFC and second most in the NFL. Allen broke franchise records for passing yards (4,544), passing touchdowns (37), total touchdowns (45), completion percentage (69.2), quarterback rating (107.2), and ESPN’s QBR statistic (81.7) while guiding Buffalo’s high flying offense. All-Pro wideouts Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley and emerging standout Gabriel Davis will be joined by talented veteran Emmanuel Sanders to give Allen arguably the best quartet of wide receivers in the league. Led by rookie first-round selection Greg Rousseau, bulked up second-year man A.J. Epenesa, the underrated Jerry Hughes and the emergence of Ed Oliver up the middle, the Bills’ pass rush should be much improved this year. Defensive coordinator/assistant head coach Leslie Frazier’s squad will get its first test of the year when Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers travel to Western Pittsburgh for Week 1. Last year, the Steelers raced out to an 11-0 start before limping to a 1-4 finish and were eliminated by the Cleveland Browns, 48-37 on Wild Card weekend. Future Hall of Fame quarterback Ben Roethlisberger returns for his 18th season with the Black and Gold, and is playing behind an offensive line that lost three former Pro Bowl players this offseason: center Maurkice Pouncey, guard David DeCastro and tackle Al Villanueva. Sunday’s matchup will be the 28th all-time between the Bills and the Steelers, and the first time these two have met in the season opener since 1978. Pittsburgh holds a 16-11 edge in the series. Buffalo was victorious the last two times these teams met, including a 26-15 triumph on Dec. 13, 2020 at then Bills Stadium. Taron Johnson returned a Roethlisberger interception 51 yards for a touchdown right before halftime, Stefon Diggs hauled in ten passes for 130 yards with one touchdown, and Josh Allen completed 24 of 43 passes for 238 yards with two TDs and one interception in the win. The Bills also prevailed 17-10 at Heinz Field on Dec. 15, 2019 to snap a six-game losing streak vs. Pittsburgh. Tyler Kroft hauled in a 14-yard touchdown pass from Allen, and the Bills picked off Devlin “Duck” Hodges four times as Buffalo wrapped up a playoff berth with the victory.
